BACON, Thomas Henry “Tom”- Suddenly, but peacefully, on May 15, 2012 at Meadows of Dorchester in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Joanne (2007). Loving father of Dawn Handy (Doug), Jim (Mona), Jack (Sharon), Mike, June Jones (Al), Pat Bacon and Nancy Pincombe (Brian). Survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his grandsons Blake and Mitchell. Dear brother of Evelyn, Elinor, and Marion.
Tom was a long time member of the Centennial Fish & Game Club as well as the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 479. He was a paratrooper with the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion 6th Airborne Division.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 9-11 am. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Meadows of Dorchester.
