KÄRNER, Tõnu “Tony” – Peacefully on Saturday February 27, 2016, at the Juravinski Hospital, in his 63rd year. Dearly loved husband of Lynn (Deveaux); Dear father of Brittany; Loved son of Heljo and the late Jaan V. Kärner; brother of Matti and Alexander and the late Maie Gibson and Hilda Reid; beloved son-in-law of the late William Deveaux and Margaret Inglis; brother-in-law of Kathy Timperio, Marion Hicks, Adele Cadeddu and Patsy Goodnough. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, and by relatives in Estonia. Tõnu worked 18 years at Abex Industries (ABC Rail) and later for 18 years as a machine operator at Henniges Automotive. An avid golfer with many golf buddies, he enjoyed his golf trips to Terry Hills Golf and Country Club in Batavia, NY, and his trips to Myrtle Beach and Florida.
Tõnu will be at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, where his family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. Funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to Juravinski Hospital.
