Life Story for Della Opal Fisch (Pentland)

FISCH, Della Opal - It is with great sadness that the family of Della Fisch announces her passing on Thursday August 11, 2016 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husbands William C. Fisch (2016) and Robert F. Pentland (1973). Beloved Mother of Michael (Anita) Pentland, Wendy Schriver, Mark Pentland, Van McKay, and Brenda (Frank) Ariganello. Cherished Nanny of Amanda (Carl) Slee, Jesse Pentland and Robert Pentland. She also leaves behind 8 additional grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Della was the youngest in a large family from La Tuque, Quebec. It was her wish in life to have many children of her own and stay at home and raise them, which she did. Ma was a wonderful loving mother, and she was always there if anyone needed her. Family and friends will miss her deeply, her many stories of down home, and all the old songs she used to sing. Cremation has taken place, and there will be a private family burial. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society. Ma you are truly back home now.
