EVANS, Hazel Marion (Gray) - Peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2016 in Niagara Falls, ON, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Douglas (2003) for 59 happy years. Loving mother of Doug (Lynne) of Winnipeg, Susan Newell (Tom) of Niagara Falls and the late Brian (late Betty). Cherished grandmother of Hugh (Jaya), Ben (Mina), Darby and Jackson, all of Niagara, Jamie (Jenna), Michael (Celiese) and Barbara (Jay), all of Manitoba. Hazel came from a family of 8 siblings all of whom have predeceased her except her youngest brother Lou and brother-in-law Jack Hanna, who kept in constant contact with her. Hazel is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, ON, on Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 2-3 p.m., with the service at 3 p.m. Private family burial at York Cemetery, Toronto. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
