Life Story for Joyce Kathleen Edna Swain (Sparling)

SWAIN, Joyce - Joyce Kathleen Edna (nee Sparling) passed away April 28, 2017 at Queenston place with her family by her side. She was 86 years old and the wife and best friend of Henry A. Swain for 61 years. She is survived by her daughter Susan Kathleen Henderson of Niagara Falls and by her twin grandsons David and Douglas Henderson. She is also survived by her sister Ellen Duly (late Wilfred) of Niagara Falls. She was the daughter of the late Kathleen and Kenneth Sparling of Niagara Falls. She was predeceased by a sister June A McDonald of Utah, a brother Earl L. Sparling (Sheila) of Toronto. She was also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her sister in law and brother in law Margot and Stewart Swain of Leesburg, Florida and her life long friends Rev. Elizabeth Manker of Niagara Falls and Doreen Angles of Fort Erie.
Family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St, on Tuesday May 2, 2017 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 11A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview cemetery. Donations in her name can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Queenston Place in Niagara Falls would be appreciated.
