MULLER, George David - It is with great sadness, the Muller family announce the sudden passing of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on Friday May 12, 2017, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in his 84th year. Dearly loved husband for 59 years of Aniko. Dear father of Daniel and his wife Lynda, of Toronto, Bob (Dale Rutherford), and Steven, of Niagara Falls. Proud and loving Grampa of Aaron and Ethan, Courtney (Dylan), Joshua (Amy), Hailey (Ryan), and Brandon, and Great Grampa of Athena and Jade. Predeceased by his parents, Ludwig (1970) and Magda (2002), and by his sister, Agnes Stern Muller (1997).
Born in Czechoslovakia, George emigrated to Canada in 1939, and was the second generation of three, of his family to operate Ludwig Muller Dry Goods on Ferry Street, retiring in 2009.
Funeral service was held at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Sunday May 14, 2017 at 11 o’clock. Interment followed at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
