Life Story for Linda "Starr" Love

LOVE Linda “Starr” - It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Linda “Starr” Love announces her sudden passing on Sunday May 14, 2017 at the age of 75. Starr is survived by her daughter Jayne (Dan) Serluca, grandchildren Matteo & Ava Serluca, sister Marilee (John) Doucet and brother Bruce (Cora) Shaw. Starr was also a dear Aunt to Kristin (David) Roff, Rebecca Doucet and great-aunt to Sarah and Aaron Roff and Jamie Doucet. Starr is predeceased by her parents Jim & Fay Shaw of Niagara Falls. Starr worked for many years as a Registered Practical Nurse at GNGH and has devoted countless hours to community service and volunteer work in Niagara Falls. Active in the community Starr especially enjoyed her grandchildren and playing cards and cribbage. She leaves behind many friends and colleagues. She will especially be missed by her friends Donna Thibert, Amy Demianchuk, Jackie Robb & Muriel Lafford. The family wishes to thank these special friends for their support during Starr’s brief illness.
Family will receive friends at MORSE AND SON, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls on Wednesday May 17th 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A service to celebrate Starr’s life will be held in the chapel on Thursday May 18th at 11 am. Those who wish can make donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital.
