SIMPSON, Gerald Montague It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald on May 15, 2017 at the age of 94 at the GNGH. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Simpson (nee Byrns) for 74 years. Loving father of Sheila Rienzo (the late James), Richard Simpson (Lis) and Jim Simpson (Judy). Grandfather of Sandy Rienzo, Tracy Murray (Harvey), Jaci Simpson, John Simpson (Lyndsay). Great-Grandfather of Sarah, Matthew, Owen, Travis and Logan. Brother of Grace Whyte (Lawrence) and the late Kenneth Simpson. He will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Morse & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. with a service to follow. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the girls at Willoughby Manor for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
