Life Story for John Prohaszka

John  Prohaszka
PROHASZKA, John – Early in the morning of June 12, 2017, comforted by his family, John, in his 90th year, passed away peacefully at Valley Park Lodge. He was the third son of Joseph and Mary Prohaszka; survived by his sister Alice Turner and was predeceased by brothers Joe, Peter and Charlie. John is survived by Jennifer and their children John, Kathryn Davies (Bill) and was predeceased by his son Michael (Rebecca) and infant daughter Mary Anne. He also leaves behind his dear friend Loretta Kita and her children Ron (Brenda) and Pat Doiron (Larry). Proud Grandfather of Iain, Paige, Meghann and Andrew (Raluca) and proud Dziadzi (grandpa) of Kim (Jason), Jon, Jared and Dawson. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. John was a retired electrician at Ontario Hydro. He enjoyed dancing, music and coaching Team Prohaszka baseball. Many thanks to the staff at Valley Park Lodge for their compassionate care, and giving him a comfortable home to live in.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Meals on Wheels or your favourite charity would be greatly appreciated.
