PAONESSA, Giuseppina (nee Gaglianese)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppina on Sunday July 16, 2017 at the GNGH at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Peppino Paonessa (1998). Beloved mother of Maria Mammarella (Nick), John Paonessa (Kim), Rose Mussari (John) and the late Maria Costantina (1943). Proud Nonna of 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Angelina Paonessa (Francesco) and Maria Gaglianese (Peppino) (in Italy). Predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers in Italy. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Giuseppina will be remembered for her heart of gold, her love of gardening and cooking Sunday dinners for her family.
Family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St, on Tuesday July 18, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church on Wednesday July 19, 2017 at 10 AM. Rite of committal will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
