Life Story for Julia Dmyterko

Julia Dmyterko
Dmyterko, Julia - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Julia on Sunday July 16, 2017 at the GNGH at the age of 87. Loving wife of 65 years to Jaroslaw Dmyterko. Beloved mother of Natalia (Graham), Zoriana (Alan), Tania (Tom) and Larysa (Steve). Proud grandmother of Nicholas, Luba and Markian. She will be fondly remembered by her brother, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Julia was born in Wynnyky, Ukraine on March 9, 1930 and arrived in Canada in 1948. She was active in the Ukrainian Community - Women’s League, multiple Ukrainian choirs, taught Ukrainian school and was an active member of the church. Julia had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. Her main focus in life was her husband and children.
Family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St, on Thursday July 20, 2017 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Panachyda will be held at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. A funeral mass will take place at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6248 Main Street on Friday July 21, 2017 at 10 AM. Interment will take place on Saturday July 22, 2017 at St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery, 1280 Dundas Street West, Oakville, at 11 AM. Donations to Help Us Help The Children would be appreciated.
