Life Story for Irene Mezo

MEZO Irene - After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease, it is with great sadness that the family of Irene Mezo announces her passing on September 7, 2017 at the age of 86. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband Steve Mezo (2001), parents Frank and Julia Petro, brothers George and Sonny (Kenneth) and sisters Mary and Betty. She will be remembered forever in the hearts of her daughter Adrienne (Dan) Ane and son Craig Mezo, grandchildren Dan (Sarah) Ane, Stephanie Ane (Rick), Morgan (Matt) McLay, Max Mezo and great-grandson`s Daniel Ane and Madden McLay. Dear sister of Anne (Nadas) and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Bella Senior Care Center for their care of Irene while she resided at Bella.
At Irene’s request, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make a donation in memory of Irene to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
