Life Story for David Kilty

KILTY, David - Died peacefully on September, 22nd, 2017 at home surrounded by family and good friends Don, Liz, Brian, Kathy, Bill, Nancy, Gary, Anne and Victoria, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Janet Rutherford for 36 years. Loving father of Kristen (Graham) Toyne. Cherished grandad of Grayson David. Dear brother of Dan (Norma), Joe (Judy), Eric (Anne) and Angela. Brother-in-law of Liz (Donald) McEwan and Susan (Ed) Dorion.
David was a proud member of the Niagara Falls Lions club for over 25 years. He has received many awards for his service including Lion of the Year, Melvin Jones Fellow and the Helen Keller Fellowship. He could often be found at Rolling Meadows Golf club for an early tee off time.
The family will receive friends at Niagara Falls Lions Club, 4981 Drummond Rd., on Sunday, September 24th, from 2 - 4pm.
Thanks to Dr. Preston Zuliani and staff at the Thorold Clinic and Geneva, David’s palliative care nurse from Para Med. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to either Walker Family Cancer Centre or to Canadian Cancer Society - Niagara Transportation Service
