Jacobi, Douglas (Doug) – Passed away suddenly at Willoughby Manor on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at the age of 93. He is finally reunited with his beloved wife Helen (2004) and his son Bruce (2009). He is survived by his daughter Dawn (Bill) Gordon and grandsons Ryan Jacobi, Steven Jacobi and Damien Jacobi and his great-grandchildren Abbyrose Jacobi, Luca Jacobi and another great-grandchild due in March. He will be greatly missed by his fur baby Remy. Doug served in the Royal Air Force during WW11. He was shot down and served as a POW for the last few months of the war. Upon return to Canada he joined his father working at Universal Garage then on to Niagara Power where he worked until retirement.
Family will receive friends at MORSE AND SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. on Monday February 19th from 2-4 & 7-9. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday February 20th at 11 am with burial to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery. Those who wish can make a donation in Doug’s honour to the Humane Society of Niagara Falls or Bethlehem Housing and support services.
