Life Story for Antonio Arcuri

ARCURI, Antonio – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Antonio on Monday April 30, 2018 at Millennium Trail Manor, after a long battle with Alzheimers at the age of 83. Reunited with his beloved wife Rosina (2015). Loving father of Josephine Verbraeken (Wernher), Emilio (Karen) and Steve (Laura). Cherished Nonno of Jacob, Katerina, Anthony, Gabriel, Carmen, Giancarlo, Max, Marco, Tessa and Alex. Dear brother of Gennaro (Maria) of Niagara Falls, Gemma, Carmela, and brother-in-law of Chiara, all of Italy. Fondly remembered by many family and friends in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by his parents Emilio and Giuseppina, brother Giuseppe, sisters Cristina and Saverina and in-laws Gugliemo, Francesco, Mario and Angelo. Antonio loved to be with family for Sunday dinners, gardening and making his own wine. He enjoyed the many visits from family and friends during his time at Millennium Trail Manor. We wish to thank the staff there for their wonderful care, love and support.
The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church, Friday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Fairview Mausoleum. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Millennium Trail Manor Palliative Care.
