Life Story for Clive Anthony Tucker

Clive Anthony Tucker
TUCKER, Clive – Born August 15, 1940, in the little village of Wincanton, England, passed away Friday, June 22nd, 2018 at Welland General Hospital. Clive spent all his school years in the Taunton area. In his 30’s, after he became a Journeyman Printer at the local newspaper, he met his sweetheart Gillian Whelan. At this time, they took the big leap, immigrating to Canada, where they got Married and settled in Chippawa. It was a tough road to walk as he had many side effects from his 50 years of diabetes. The last few years he also suffered kidney failure. Chippawa was his home until recently when he moved into Queenston Place. He loved it there and he was certainly treated well. He is survived by his 98 year old mother Kathleen, in England, his wife Gillian, and was the proud father of John, Wendy, and Amy. The proud Father-In-Law of Tina and Gary. Exceptionally proud “Grumpa” of James, Zoey, Aidan and Avery-Rose. He was employed by the Niagara South Board of Education and was a faithful member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist church Saturday from 11 am to 1pm followed by a funeral service at 1pm. Those who wish, may make a memorial donation to the St. John The Evangelist Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. Memories, photos and condolences may be shared at www.morseandson.com
