BORTOLIN, Aurora (Iseppon) – It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Aurora Bortolin on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, surrounded by family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio Bortolin for 66 years. Loving mother of Valeria Bortolin and Michael Bortolin (Deborah Spiotti). Proud Nonna of Dean Abbosh and Ariel Bortolin. Sadly missed by her brothers Mario Iseppon (Judy) and Tony Iseppon (Hilda) all of Niagara Falls, sisters-in-law Angelina Baratto and Augusta De Negri of Italy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her sister Costantina Spironello. The family would like to thank Dr. Julie Lum, Willoughby Manor and staff and the GNGH staff for the care and compassion that they provided to Aurora.
As per Aurora’s wishes cremation has already taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations to either the Niagara Health Foundation-GNGH site or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
