BOVE, Tony
January 31, 1956 – September 5, 2018
Surrounded by his loving family at home. Loving husband of 38 years to Heather. Devoted and loving father to Andrea, Erica (David), and Anthony (Catherine). Brother of the late Joe Bove (late Linda) and Emilia Leo (Joe). Brother in law to Rick Brady (late Lorraine) and Bonnie Brady (Anthony). Predeceased by his father, Sebastiano Bove and mother, Maria Bove, father in law, Elliott Brady and mother in law, Helen Brady. Remembered by nephews and nieces, Anthony (Claudia), Mario (Francesca), Paul (Jodi), Lori (Zoltan), Michael, Meghan (Aaron), David, and Katie (Nick). As well as many great nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tony was born in Giuliano di Roma and immigrated to Canada in 1966. He never forgot his beloved hometown and happily travelled back to visit family and friends. Affectionately known as “Red”, he was an avid soccer player and a born goal scorer, as well as a true fan of the game. He could always be found cheering for his beloved club AC Milan and Gli Azzurri. He always enjoyed and cherished an afternoon coffee and playing cards with his friends. Thank you to the staff at Hamilton Health Sciences, in particular the Heart Function Clinic at Hamilton General. A very special thank you to Dr. David Rosa for his kind and compassionate care.
Family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main Street, on Sunday September 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning, 10a.m. at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Buchanan Ave. Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Education Foundation of Niagara, or Heart Niagara.
