IRELAND, John – Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Monday October 8, 2018 in his 102nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Gladys (2001). Devoted father of Molly (Larry) Buckaway, Peter (Kathleen) Ireland, David Ireland, and Margaret (Gert) Andersen. Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his 6 siblings. John will be always remembered for his favorite saying, “JOLLY GOOD”. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON EVENT CENTRE, 5929 Main St., on Friday October 19 from 12 to 2 pm. A graveside service will follow at 3 pm at St. David’s-Queenston United Church Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to St. David’s-Queenston United to Church.
