HICKS, Glen Nelson – Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of the late Renée (2017). Devoted father of Derek (Letty Maghari) and Shannon Foster (Dominic). Adored Papa of Isabelle and Lynelle. Dear brother of Gary (Victoria), Garnet (Joy), Gil (Angie) and Joy Koski (Greg). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Glen was an extraordinarily talented and well-known saxophone player in the Niagara Region, whose contribution to the music scene will be greatly missed. Glen was also known for his furniture-making, carpentry, and wood working skills.
A service to commemorate Glen’s life will be held at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish, may make a memorial donation to MusiCounts. A celebration and musical tribute will be held at Puddy’s Bar and Grill, 36 Wright St. #8, St. Catharines on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3-7 p.m.
