Harry A Life Well Lived
Harry Warner Reid, February 5, 1954 – December 5, 2018
After a long brave battle with MS, Harry passed away suddenly at his home with the love of his life by his side. Gone too soon!. He lived his life finding joy in everything, always putting others before himself. He lived to make people laugh. He had nicknames for almost everyone he knew - too many to mention– you all know who you are.
He will be truly missed by his wife Linda, his cat Blonko and his amazing family and friends. A loving son of the late Earl and Lorna Reid and brother of Stan (Pam).
An uncle to Andrea (Drew), Jon (Julie), Matt (Linda), Mike (Katie), David, Tricia (Rob), Jonathan (Jaime), Michael (Michelle), Bryan (Angela), Paul (Robyn), Sara (Jordan), Timmy (Stacey) and Zachary. He was a great uncle to Ireland, Lucas, Violet, Charlotte, Graydon, Emmett, Willem, Ben, Will, Avery, Liam, Abigail, Anna, Desmond, Jacob, Elias, Ronen, Hope and Tovah. A brother-in-law to Phyllis (Bruce), Sharon (John), Mary (Don), Tim (Lynn) and Laurie (Alex).
He was a good friend to Dave Wheeler, Tom Lyall, Dave Chagnon, Jack Chalmers, Randy Vant and so many more, too numerous to name, who were always there for him and will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by his many loving cousins, especially Jackie and Roger who helped him out a lot.
He was one of a kind, loved by everyone lucky enough to have known him.
A celebration of life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479, 5603 Spring Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1 to 5.
If you have any pictures, nicknames, stories or anything that you would like to share about Harry please bring it that day for our memory book.
In memory of Harry, memorial donations may be made to The Niagara Falls Humane Society or to a Charity of your choice.
He is now out of pain, walking and rocking in heaven, singing the blues.
Rest in peace Harry.
We love you and miss you so much.
