LEONARD, Elaine Julia Anne (McDonald) –
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elaine on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at her home in Niagara Falls, at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Benjamin Leonard for 49 years (2001). Loving mother of Diana Lamont (Alfred), Betty Fick (Richard), Crystal Walker (Robert) and Benjamin Leonard Jr. Adored grandmother of Melanie Kraemer (Chris Dowling), Blake Lamont (Simone Van Den Berg), Betty-Jo Brennan, Tanya Brennan, Benjamin “JR” Fick (Meg), Mitchell Leonard (Emily Berry), Roberta Walker (Nathan Bolong), Alanna Walker (Mohanned Alamin), Shane Leonard and Lindsay Leonard (Ronald Britton). Dear sister of Betty. Fondly remembered by many great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her siblings; Joyce, Eddie and Ronnie.
The family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON EVENT CENTRE, 5929 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. At a later date there will be a service in Sault Ste. Marie, dates and times will be announced. As an expression of sympathy, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.
