Condolence: Crystal,
I am so sorry for your loss. Elaine was a wonderful neighbour and many of us on Wilinger miss her. She always had a smile for each and everyone of us. I only found the notice of service today (Sept. 17/19) or I would have been there.
Gayle
Condolence: To Melanie and family, We are so sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Good thoughts and memories will help you keep her in your heart forever. Sincerely, the Dailey family
Condolence: My first memory of Aunt Elaine was when I was around three years old. I thought she was the prettiest woman I had ever seen. She was a very pretty dark haired woman of eighteen; petite and always well groomed. Her laughter was what fascinated me. It was open and feminine. Aunt Elaine married my mother's brother, Ben when they were quite young. During the wedding ceremony, I wriggled out of my mother's grip and dashed up the aisle to stand between Aunt Elaine and Uncle Ben as they said their vows, becoming, in my three-year-old mind, part of the ceremony.
I'll end with a small piece of a poem.
I thought I heard her voice today
Then laugh her hearty laugh
And then I heard the Angel say
“There's peace for her at last.”
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Elaine. I am sorry that I can't make it down, but know that you all have been in my thoughts, and prayers, and will be. When I think of your mom I smile, and remember times in Brantford so many years ago. In hopes that your memories help you in the next few days, and times ahead. Love with fond memories of you all
