I recall an amazing moment on this upcoming anniversary. My mom and I went down to the rescue site with the Fire Chief and he graciously walked us through what had occurred that fateful day when they attempted to save the life of my father. I listened to the best of my ability but found my thoughts askew and thinking about his final moments and what he must have been feeling. I wished I could have spoken to him one alst time and read his mind to see through the pain and help him make some sort of sense about the mental illness he was battling inside. After the Chief walked us over to the waters edge he tapped me on my shoulder and said look over your back in the sky and what i saw was a circular rainbow unlike anything i had ever seen before a miracle in fact and it was my Dad i am sure of it watching over and that was a sign to say evrything is okay i am at peace.
Never will i have another moment like that with my mom that will be as amazing as that was and i was happy we could have this split second of " a rainbow of life". There is no other way to describe it.
Love you Dad forever.
