My Mother always laughed when telling this story about Lily & the day I was born: When Mom went into labour with me, Lily drove her to the hospital & hit every pothole there was along the way. Finally at the next red light, Mom told Lily; "It may be easier for me if you let me out & I'll walk the rest of the way." lol Upon arriving, the nurse required some paperwork to be filled out & Lily was there to oblige. After a few minutes the nurse came into to see my Mom; Lily was in such a dither, she forgot my Mom's name. Lily was there for all of us as a family right into our adult lives. She was my GodMother, sometimes my counsil & always my friend & I am going to miss her so very much. To Paula, Neddy & Lorne; I can't tell you how sad I feel; Lily will be missed by so many.
