Life Story for Ann Comaniuk

COMANIUK Ann - Passed away on April 21, 2018 at the age of 88 at Millennium Trail Manor. Ann was surrounded by her loving family, until the angels came to take her home. She was predeceased by her late husband Louis (2010). Survived by her son Louis Jr. (Lynn), son David (Sandra), and daughter Lorie (Malcolm). Loving grandmother of Leonard (Adaire), Ronna, Alicia, Olivia and Daniel. Great grandmother of Antonio and Aaralynn.
Ann was born and raised in Niagara Falls where she married and raised her children. She worked at Burgess Battery and worked on her own grape farm in St. Davids. She was very active, vibrant homemaker that enjoyed cooking, baking and old time canning preserves. Ann loved her old classic country music played by her musical family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
A heartfelt thankyou to the nursing staff at Millennium Trail Manor, Montrose floor for caring for Ann as they would their own. Also a special thankyou to NP Lois and the palliative care team.
At the request of Ann cremation has taken place. A private family inurnment will take place at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Niagara.
