LANGFORD, Catharine “Cathy” – Passed away peacefully with her loving partner at her side at Hospice Niagara on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at the age of 59. Beloved companion and best friend of Barry Kemp. Loving sister of Ken (Debi) Langford. Caring aunt of Scott (Kirsty) Langford and Megan Langford. Dear great-aunt of Emmeline. Fondly missed by Eric (Stacy) Kemp and Jamie Kemp. Adored grandmother of Hudson and Blake Kemp. Cathy was a long time teacher with the District School Board of Niagara. In her retirement Cathy enjoyed working at the Evergreen Brickworks Farmers Market with Barry. In her spare time Cathy enjoyed curling, knitting, had a passion for gardening and loved working in the orchards alongside Barry.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St., on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm and Monday from 10 am to 12 pm followed by a funeral service to celebrate the life of Cathy at the funeral home at 12 pm. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery.
