MacPHAIL, Bonnie Lynn – After a long and courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Sunday September 22, 2019 at the age of 55. Beloved wife of Bob Waters for 15 years. Loving mother of Cole MacPhail and stepmother of Melissa Waters (Robert Robinson) and Jason Waters (Leeya Wootten). Grandma Bonnie of Sandra, Austin and Liam. Dear sister of Alan (Danielle) MacPhail and Rev. Bryn (Allie) MacPhail. Caring Aunt of Arianne MacPhail, Alex MacPhail and Anya MacPhail. Adored niece of Carolyn Philbrick and Claudia (Butch) Grimwood. Fondly remembered by many cousins and her close friends. Predeceased by her parents George MacPhail (1984) and Rosalyn MacPhail (MacTavish) (2017). Bonnie worked for the City of Hamilton as a member of the Labor Relations Team for the past 7 years.
The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A service to celebrate the life of Bonnie will be held at 11 am on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hospice Niagara or YMCA St. Catharines.
